The Jenkins plugin supports the integration of LabVIEW into the continuous integration process. It supports automated code creation, testing, and analysis. The following functions are supported by the plugin:
Execute Build Specification
To create an application, library or bitfile using the settings in the specified build specification(s)
Run VI Analyzer Toolkit
This executes the specified VI Analyzer configuration in the LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit and saves the test report to the specified location.
Use the Record Compiler Warnings and Static Analysis Results step in the post-build actions to record and visualize the results from the VI Analyzer task
Execute Mass Compile
This compiles all files in the specified directory.
Execute VI
This allows you to run a specific VI on the build server.
Close LabVIEW
This function closes LabVIEW without an additional prompt.
Specify version information
Here you change the information about the version of a build specification and determine whether the build should be compiled as a debug build.
Manage different installations
Under the global tools in the Jenkins installation, you must manage all your LabVIEW installations in use. These settings can then be used in the individual functions.
